MICROWAVE FUDGE
Now you can buy the mix before microwave candy box in the grocery store. Quick and easy. Put in a glass dish or a nice Christmas tin.You can find cheap dishes and cans at the thrift store or garage sales.
Chocolate covered pretzels
You can use any pretzel shaped like twists above or even easier is the pretzel logs. Use the chocolate melting disks available in craft stores and some supermarkets. Sprinkle with colored jimmies, sprinkles, crushed nuts or mini M & M's. Wrap up in a cellophane bag with ribbon fantasy. You can use the same cover idea except candy canes.
HOT COCOA MIX
Ingredients:
1 – Milk powder box 8 Qt
1 to 6 oz jar cream milk powder
1 £ 1 box powdered Hot Chocolate Mix (Nestle Quick or similar)
2 teaspoon cinnamon
Mix all ingredients in large bowl. Package in glass jars with pretty bow attached. Add recipe card. Recipe is: add 2 heaping tablespoons of the mixture a bowl of hot water. Stir, add marshmallows if desired.
SPICED TEA Ingredients:
2 cups Tang orange
1 / 2 cup instant tea
1 cup sugar
1 package dry lemonade mix
1 / 2 teaspoon ground cloves
2 tablespoons cinnamon
Mix all ingredients. Mixture will make 1 quart of dry mix. Fill glass jars or tin Christmas with the mixture. Add recipe card. To serve: 2 tablespoons of use. dry mixture into a piping hot cup of water.

Scented bath salts
Everybody loves a nice relaxing dip in the tub with scented bath salts. Buy some local store in your bathroom and constitution, or make your own. Use the plain rock salt and add a few drops of your favorite essential oil. Lavender & increased work quite well. Bottle up in a jar very or use an organza gift bag. Be sure to make a few weeks before the oil to fund the smell of salt.
TEA BAGS WITH SPOON DEMI
Place a few bags of tea flavor in an organza bag and a demitasse spoon sweet tie at the top. Cute for brides in clubs, religious groups etc.
Stress Relievers
Has anyone noted the friends? Make a stress reliever gift basket. Fill in your basket or nice gift bag with porcelain tea cup and saucer, some herbal teas, a relaxing aromatherapy candle, a lavender eye pack, bath salts or bath of confetti, possibly a relaxing instrumental CD. Fill it with elements that vary depending on what your budget will allow. Even sales of aromatherapy candles in stores now. Pick up a vintage cup and saucer at the Salvation Army thrift store.
Soup in a JAR
There are many recipes in a jar soup around. Try this:
INGREDIENTS:
- 1 / 2 cup barley
- 1 / 2 cup split peas
- 1 / 2 cup raw white rice
- 1 / 2 cup dried lentils
- 2 tablespoons dried minced onion
- 2 tablespoons dried parsley 2 teaspoons salt
- 1 / 2 teaspoon lemon pepper
- 2 tablespoons bouillon granules
- 1 / 2 cup uncooked alphabet pasta
- 1 cup uncooked twist macaroni
INSTRUCTIONS: In a wide-mouth jar 1 quart, layer the barley, peas, rice and lentils. Then layer around the edges of the onion, parsley, salt, lemon pepper, bouillon and the alphabet pasta. Fill the rest of the bottle with the twist macaroni. Seal and attach a gift card. The gift card is as follows: Add the contents of jar to 3 quarts water 2 stalks chopped celery, 2 carrots sliced, 1 cup shredded cabbage (optional) 2 cups diced tomatoes. A medium-low heat,
cover and simmer about 1 hour or until vegetables are tender.
PINE CONES COLOR FIREPLACE
Soak pine cones in any of the following solutions. When the cones are thrown into the fire, will burn in different colors. Add 1 cup of any of the following gallon and 1 / 2 of water, soak overnight. You must let the cones to dry completely before use. A minimum of 3 days drying. For yellow / green flames using borax, yellow flames use salt, violet flames using a salt substitute (potassium) used deep red flames boric acid. Always handle chemicals with care. Place pine cones in a mesh bag for gift giving.
Cookie Cutter HOMEMADE BISCUITS DOG
Do not forget man's best friend! This simple recipe requires:
- 2 +1 / 2 cups whole wheat flour
- 1 / 4 cup milk
- 1 egg
- 1 / 4 teaspoon garlic
- 1 envelope dry yeast
- 1 / 4 cup wheat germ
- 4 TBS hot margarine
- 1 tablespoon molasses
- 1 1 / 4 teaspoon salt
- 3 tablespoons water
Dissolve yeast in warm water. Separately mix flour, garlic. wheat germ and salt, then cut in margarine. Add eggs, molasses, and milk. Then mix in the mix of yeast. Make the dough 1 / 2 "thick. Cut into shapes and place on a greased baking tray. Bake at 375 for 20 minutes cool at night. Use cutters fancy cookies for Christmas or a dog bone-shaped cutter.
