Shea Butter is from the Body Shop lip good?

I tried many lip balms before and that only ended with "burnt" lips - my lips were sore, red and inflamed. I have no idea what happens to me. Once I thought it was because of chlorine in a swimming pool where a lot but the thing is that while you were using a lip balm I just bought and secondly swimming in pools chlorinated water had before and nothing had happened to me. So I decided to try this one from The Body Shop in the hope it would not hurt my mouth the way others did. So if anyone had any bad experience with this it would be really grateful if you tell me, so do not start using it. Thank you.
