shea butter shave cream

My lotion has nonoxynol 9 – spermicide. Then I see online is common in cosmetic products. WHY!?

I bought some lotion today from the dollar store, good stuff, smells like grape jelly and has shea butter, etc ..... I rubbed it all after my bathroom, and then read the bottle to see ingredients, and find it has nonoxynol 9, which is a spermicide. I'm thinking it is a cause of rejection that came from the dollar store, wondering why he had put in there, then look online to see if it can have adverse effects on the skin, and find that is common in cosmetics such as shaving cream, hair dyes and lotions. I do not understand this. Please explain why, and this hurts me?
